Secto Rally Finland, the tenth round of the WRC, got underway today with the traditional shakedown in the morning before crews tackled the opening super special stage in the evening.
Shakedown
The iconic Ruuhimäki stage hosted the morning shakedown, where Takamoto Katsuta set the fastest time on his third and final run with a 2:11.7. Adrien Fourmaux and Oliver Solberg shared second place after both stopped the clocks at 2:12.6.

Super Special Stage
The opening Harju super special saw Adrien Fourmaux make the perfect start to the rally, setting the fastest time of 2:06.7. Thierry Neuville finished 1.1 seconds behind in second, while Sébastien Ogier and Elfyn Evans shared third place, both just 1.2 seconds adrift. Takamoto Katsuta completed the top five, with home favourite Sami Pajari only a tenth of a second further back in sixth.
