He maintained a strong advantage of +29.2 seconds, securing his first-ever ERC victory. An emotional Armstrong said afterwards: <em>\u201cIt\u2019s something you\u2019re always working towards. We had a nice cry together on the road down here.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was a day of double celebration for the M-Sport team, with Romet J\u00fcrgenson finishing second overall.
