The last day of Rally Poland 2025 kept fans on the edge of their seats. Sunday\u2019s route featured six tests, three stages run twice: Miko\u0142ajki, Pozezdrze, and Gmina Mr\u0105gowo, each run twice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The morning opened with a scare for rally leader M\u0101rti\u0146\u0161\u202fSesks. He slid off the road on the first stage of the day, but the car escaped major damage and he continued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only a few kilometres later, the battle for second place took a dramatic turn. Roope\u202fKorhonen\u202fand\u202fAnssi\u202fViinikka, who had been chasing Sesks, rolled their Toyota 4.9\u202fkm into SS10\u202fPozezdrze. The accident forced them out and reshuffled the podium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Korhonen\u2019s retirement promoted local heroes Miko\u0142aj\u202fMarczyk\u202fand Szymon\u202fGospodarczyk to second place, while Jon\u202fArmstrong\u202fand\u202fShane\u202fByrne climbed to third.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Armstrong\u2019s day wasn\u2019t trouble\u2011free either: he clipped a chicane in SS12, almost stalled, and collected a 10\u2011second penalty, but he still hung on to the podium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drivers gave it everything in this final push, but once again it was Sesks who came out on top with a time of 8:05.0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    One of the day\u2019s most heartbreaking moments came when British driver Philip Allen, who had impressed throughout the weekend, was forced to retire during the Power Stage due to a mechanical issue. It was another tough blow in what has been a difficult season so far\u2014his only finish from four ERC rounds remains Rally Hungary, and even that was under Super Rally rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    With Rally Poland now complete, all eyes turn to the next chapter of the 2025 European Rally Championship. The action continues at Rally di Roma Capitale, taking place from 4-6 July, where the championship fight is sure to heat up once again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
