Elfyn Evans claimed a commanding victory at the 2025 Safari Rally Kenya, extending his lead in the World Rally Championship. This win marks his first-ever back-to-back victories in his career, showcasing his growing dominance in the series. The Toyota driver showed consistency and control throughout the challenging event, finishing more than a minute ahead of his closest competitor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reflecting on his triumph, Evans expressed gratitude to the fans and his team. \u201cThank you to everyone in Kenya for a very warm welcome. The team did an amazing job. We’re glad to be a part of history winning this special rally,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hyundai\u2019s Ott T\u00e4nak secured second place after overcoming mechanical issues earlier in the rally. His teammate Thierry Neuville completed the podium in third, fighting back from penalties and setbacks to earn valuable championship points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Power Stage was a showcase of Hyundai’s strength. All three top spots went to the Korean manufacturer, with Fourmaux taking the fastest time. Neuville and T\u00e4nak followed closely behind, adding crucial points for the team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Takamoto Katsuta\u2019s rally ended in disappointment. The Toyota driver had been in contention before a dramatic crash on the final day caused his car to roll, forcing him to retire after the stage due to extensive damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In WRC2, Gus Greensmith emerged victorious. His steady performance earned him a win by over 3 minutes. Jan Solans faced difficulties after rolling his car on SS18 but managed to finish second. Despite the setback, he showed determination and kept his position on the podium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this victory, Evans further strengthens his lead in the championship, leaving his rivals with plenty of ground to cover in the races ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
