In a thrilling conclusion to the 2025 Rally Sweden, Elfyn Evans and co-driver Scott Martin clinched victory, securing maximum points across Saturday, Sunday, and the power stage. This triumph propels Evans to the forefront of the World Rally Championship standings.

The competition was fierce throughout the event. On the initial pass of Västervik, the rally’s longest stage, Takamoto Katsuta outpaced his Toyota teammate by 7.5 seconds, seizing a 4.5-second lead. However, Evans responded assertively on the second pass, outperforming Thierry Neuville by a significant 6.7 seconds and reclaiming a 3.7-second advantage.

The power stage intensified the excitement, with Evans, Katsuta, and Neuville separated by less than a second, underscoring the event’s competitive nature. Meanwhile, Swedish driver Oliver Solberg celebrated his third consecutive Rally Sweden victory in the WRC2 category, delighting local fans.
